From 6:00am on October 20 to 6:00am on October 21, we received 426 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials.

A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows:

  • Central: 66

  • Midtown: 60

  • South: 40
  • West: 67
  • Other: 12

"Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Notable calls

Monday, October 20:

  • 11:39am - East – Road Rage: A caller reported that on Saturday evening a vehicle fired a shot at their vehicle after a road rage incident. Investigation continuing.
  • 2:40pm – South – Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 44-year-old male subject and his minor child. The subject was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct.  The child was left in the care of their other parent. Child Protective Services notified.
  • 7:56pm – East – Traffic Incident: A traffic stop was conducted near Blossom Lane and Buckeye Road that resulted in a 29-year-old male driver receiving a citation for carrying a concealed weapon violation. The gun was recovered.
  • 9:00pm - North - Domestic Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 43-year-old male subject. Subject was uncooperative and arrested for resisting, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a parole hold.
  • 11:45 pm – North – Traffic incident: A traffic stop was conducted and the passenger provided false identification. The juvenile was determined to be listed as missing/runaway from another State. Officers transferred her to the appropriate authorities.

Tuesday, October 21:

  • 2:37am – Midtown – Intoxicated Driver: Police were called to the intersection of S. Gammon Rd and Mineral Point. A motorist fell asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle. When awakened by police, the 41-year-old male driver attempted to flee, nearly hitting a police squad.  He was arrested and taken to jail for a second offense OWI.
