Incident Details
Multiple Madison Police Officers responded to Penn Park Saturday night for reports of people fighting with guns and someone being stabbed.
Officers arrived on scene and everyone started to run. Officers were then pointed towards someone they believed had a knife.
The subject was detained, and it was learned they did not have a knife, so they were released. During the investigation it was learned there was a verbal disturbance that turned physical, however there was no evidence of guns or knives being involved.
There were no signs of injury, no reported injuries and local cameras were preserved as evidence to be reviewed.
