Incident Details

The Madison Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run crash that injured a 13-year-old.

Officers responded to E. Washington Ave. at Milwaukee St. around 3:45 p.m. on Friday.

The teen shared he was walking downtown near State Street when he was hit by an SUV. He told officers he boarded the bus to Milwaukee Street after the incident.

The teen was taken to the hospital for his injury.

Officers reviewed public space cameras.
