Madison Police Respond to Accident With Injuries and Make OWI Arrest

Madison Police were sent to a multivehicle crash on S Park St and W Badger Rd. One vehicle was travelling the northbound in the lane designated for southbound traffic and went through the red light at S Park St and collided with vehicles travelling through a green light on W Badger Rd. When officers contacted the driver of the vehicle that went through the red light, they observed signs of impairment. Madison Police arrested the driver for 1st Offense Operating A Motor Vehicle While Impaired and took her to a local hospital for a blood draw. The other drivers involved were checked on and there are no serious injuries at this time.
