Domestic Disturbance on Madison's East Side

Police were called to the 2900 block of Holborn Circle for domestic disturbance. A firearm was mentioned, however there was no indication that anyone was threatened with it.  One party to the incident refused to exit the residence, which resulted in additional resources being deployed to the area as a contingency. Police negotiators and mental health officers deescalated the incident and cleared the scene.  As a precaution, residents of this neighborhood on the city's east side were asked to avoid the area. The warning has been lifted. No one was injured and there are no additional public threats.
