Around 2 AM Saturday morning, officers were dispatched to a residential burglary on Burning Wood Ct. The caller stated she heard something in her home and when she went to investigate, she located a man in her bathroom.
The caller threw her cane at him, which scared the subject off. A second subject attempted to grab her, but she got away. The caller threw her cane at the men again, which caused them to drop several medication bottles as they were fleeing.
The men fled the area prior to police arrival and the homeowner was not injured.
