MPD called after woman found unresponsive near bike path

A person called for help after a woman was found unresponsive early Monday morning.

Officers were dispatched to an area off the bike path at Central Park along the 200 block of S. Ingersoll St. around 6:20 a.m.

They and EMS arrived to find a woman, in her fifties, deceased.

There were no signs of foul play. Drug paraphernalia was located at the scene.

The Medical Examiner's Office also responded to the scene.
