City of
Madison

The Streets Division has three drop-off sites for the use of City of Madison residents and taxpayers.

The drop-off sites at 1501 W. Badger Rd. and 4602 Sycamore Ave accept any item that can be set to the curb (including brush and yard waste) or in the carts, plus they provide opportunities to recycle electronics, household batteries, Styrofoam, cooking oil, and other material.

The site at 402 South Point Rd. is open seasonally and only accepts yard waste. (South Point Rd. now closed for season - will re-open March 30, 2019)

Additionally, there are several waste motor oil sites that are maintained by the Engineering Department.  There is also a brush processing center contractors can use for brush disposal.

All of these sites are only for the use of City of Madison residents. You will need to bring proof of residency or ownership. For complete drop off site regulations.....
