The Streets Division has three drop-off sites for the use of City of Madison residents and taxpayers.
The drop-off sites at 1501 W. Badger Rd. and 4141 Nakoosa Trail accept any item that can be set to the curb (including brush and yard waste) or in the carts, plus they provide opportunities to recycle electronics, household batteries, Styrofoam, and rigid plastics.
The site at 402 South Point Rd. only accepts yard waste when it is open.
Additionally, there are several waste oil sites that are maintained by the Engineering Department.
(Please note that drop-off services at 4602 Sycamore Avenue have temporarily moved to 4141 Nakoosa Trail. Drop-off services will return to Sycamore at 8:30am on October 17. Nakoosa will permanently close at 4:30pm on October 16. Sticker sales and customer service queries are available from the Streets Division office at 4602 Sycamore.)
All of these sites are only for the use of City of Madison residents. You will need to bring proof of residency or ownership. For complete drop off site regulations.....
