Large item work orders and certain report-a-problems will be down for scheduled maintenance from 6pm on Thursday, July 23 to 6am on Monday, July 27.

Trash Guidelines

Put trash in the tan cart.

These items are banned from the trash cart.
- Recyclable items, including cardboard
- Brush
- Yard waste and leaves
- Electronics
- Hazardous household waste
- Medical sharps
- Medicines
- Appliances (air conditioners, microwaves, etc.)
- Tires
- Dirt, rocks, bricks, concrete, and other fill material
Nothing should stick out more than 18 inches from the top of the trash cart.
Schedule collection for any large items or appliances.

Have More Trash Than the Cart Can Hold?

Try one of these options to fix the issue:

Bring extra trash to a drop-off site
Hold extra trash until next week
Ask a neighbor if they have space in the cart they use
Request a larger trash cart
Buy an additional trash cart
Rethink your purchasing habits to make less waste
Follow the household cleanup rules if this will be a short-term problem.
