    No curbside collections on Memorial Day, Monday, 5/26/25. Drop-off-sites also closed.  

    If you have a Monday pickup day, we will collect your scheduled carts on Tuesday, 5/27/25. Drop-off sites will reopen on 5/27/25 for normal hours.

In 2025, we unveiled two rolling murals to bring the work of local artists to neighborhoods on their routes.

If your child feels inspired by our art trucks to design their own murals that's great!

Submitted Artwork

Our Inspiration

In 2024, the Mayor's office received a letter from a resident.  The resident was only three years old at the time, so they probably had a little help writing it.

The letter said that while they loved our blue trucks that came by their home once a week, they wanted to know why couldn't we have purple trucks, or rainbow-colored ones?

That is a fantastic idea.

We can spruce up our collection trucks. We can take this  everyday service we provide, and and inject a little more joy, a little more beauty.  We reached out to Madison Arts and got to work.
