posted
Last Week
- Alder Rummel informed me last week that she has asked for reconsideration of the Plan Commission's decision to deny the Cottage Grove/Atwood redeveloment proposal. The question of reconsideration will be on the next Plan Commission agenda on Monday, 10/5. If Plan Commission votes to reconsider the item, the developer has indicated that they plan to share updates to their proposal. I will post more details on this item ahead of next Monday's meeting.
- The Public Safety Review Committee Budget Subcommittee held a public hearing last week to get input from the public on next year's budget. You can watch the meeting here and read the draft report here.
- Other city updates
- On September 22, Gov. Tony Evers issued a new statewide mask mandate set to expire on Saturday, November 21, unless another order takes its place. Because the order from Public Health Madison & Dane County has some stricter requirements, those requirements must also be followed. See Dane County face covering requirements to learn more. And remember to #MaskUpMadison!
