• Juneteenth Holiday: The City of Madison administrative offices are closed for the Juneteenth holiday, on Friday, June 19. All emergency services will be open; please call 911.
  • Emergency Water Issue: Call Madison Water Utility at 608-266-4665, 24/7.
  • Sanitary Sewer Back-up: Call 608-266-4430. An emergency crew will respond to your call.
  • Report a Problem: Report non-emergencies that can wait until the next City working day.
• Beach Water Quality: We monitor water quality at beaches from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Check conditions before going in the water.

• Pathways to 2050: Public Involvement Meeting (Virtual), Monday, June 15: The Greater Madison MPO is beginning work on an update to the region's long-range transportation plan, which will help guide transportation priorities and investments across the Greater Madison region over the next 20–30 years.
• Glenway Backyard Pipe Repairs, Tuesday, June 16: A public information meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., June 16, 2026, via Zoom.

• Westbound W. Dayton Street Closed for Sanitary Sewer Work from June 15 to July 17: Starting at 8:00am on Monday June 15, R.G Huston will be performing sanitary replacement on a segment of W. • Monday Mornings at The Glen, Monday, June 15 (This event occurs on multiple dates): Enjoy The Glen for a stroll, nature, workout or leashed dog walk from sunrise to 8:00 am. Tee times resume at hole #1 at 8:00am. Visitors should be alert for golf balls and golfers while exiting the course.
• Lakeside Kids: Trinity Irish Dancers, Tuesday, June 16: Join us for another exiting summer season of Lakeside Kids! – a free interactive series featuring science, culture, arts and entertainment. Designed for kids ages 4 and up. Lakeside Kids! provides hands-on fun and learning in an engaging and dynamic setting. 
• Mobile Madison | Hoppers (movie), Tuesday, June 16: Join Mobile Madison partners for an evening of fun. Enjoy free snacks, books, art activities, fishing games, fitness and more. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for the movie in the park!

• Learn to Kayak, Wednesday, June 17: Learn to Kayak with Madison Boats! Register online for this free class offered at Marshall Park. All ages are welcome and most appropriate for ages 10 and older. Anyone under 18 must have a guardian present and may need to be in the kayak with child.
• Grateful Dead Night, Wednesday, June 17: Come out to the golf course and enjoy the sounds of the Grateful Dead as DJ Nate Kudick spins your favorite classics throughout the evening. Grab a drink, relax with friends, and take advantage of the putting course while soaking in the vibes.
• Parks Alive | Owl Creek Park, Thursday, June 18: Parks Alive is back this year with more of what you love! Visit your local park and share in fun, family friendly activities while building connections with neighbors and creating memories with friends.
• Capitol City Band Concerts - 58th Season, Thursday, June 18 (This event occurs on multiple dates): The Capitol City Band's 58th season begins June 18 at the Rennebohm Park Shelter. Bring a chair and enjoy live music on Thursdays at 7:00 PM through August 20.
• Concerts on the Rooftop: Kinfolk (R & B/Soul), Thursday, June 18: Kinfolk is an American R&B band based in Madison, playing an array of traditional jazz to mainstream R&B and rock-based music to funk, Latin, and Jamaican-based rhythms, as well as a variety of soulful original tunes.
• Junction Ridge Farmers' Market, Friday, June 19 (This event occurs on multiple dates): Find fresh, local products at the JRNA Farmers' Market.
• Bird & Nature Adventures | Starkweather Creek Area, Saturday, June 20: Paddle the Creek ~ Join Aaron Cutler and Friends of Starkweather Creek for a free fun family friendly paddle along Starkweather Creek.  Some canoes provided first come first served, bring your own canoe or kayak if you have one.  
• Bird & Nature Adventures | Warner Park, Sunday, June 21: Imagine June 2050 ~ As summers heat up with climate change what will Warner Park look and feel like in 2054?  What can we individually and collectively support and do to help mitigate those impacts?
• Make Music Madison – Monona, Sunday, June 21: Swing into summer with Golf Madison Parks on June 21 for a day of music, community, and great vibes at our beautiful Monon Golf Course. We're celebrating the season by hosting talented local artists, bringing vibrant live music to our clubhouse patios all afternoon.
• Make Music Madison - The Glen Golf Park, Sunday, June 21: Swing into summer with Golf Madison Parks on June 21 for a day of music, community, and great vibes at our beautiful course— The Glen Golf Park. We're celebrating the season by hosting talented local artists bringing vibrant live music to our clubhouse patio all day long.
