***There are two sections to this week's update:

  1. Downtown Updates
  2. City Meetings of Interest

Downtown Updates

Madison Night Market is TONIGHT!!!
I am personally hyped for the Night Market to finally be back in full swing. In the last Madison BID Board meeting, it became apparent to me that the Night Market is one of the most widely celebrated events in Madison during the summer. Make sure to attend the market before 9p.

May 7th - May 13th is Drinking Water Week
Recognizing drinking water week is an opportunity for conversation, collaboration, and education on preserving safe, clean drinking water. I believe that this is especially important as the City of Madison grapples with the harsh realities of PFAS in our water systems. It is especially important for downtown and the Isthmus as we are surrounded by lakes that are plagued with the harmful effects of climate change and waste. I hope this can be an opportunity for us to recognize and respect the land we live on, the air we breathe, and the water we drink.
