Email Scam (Phishing Attempt)

The FBI has warned that scammers are pretending to be city officials to request payments for planning and zoning permits. We're aware of phishing attempts following this scam in Madison.

Applications are for permits that need plan review. Datasheets collect information that we need to generate fees and issue the permit. 

If we approved your plans, or your project does not require plan review, fill out the datasheets below to apply for a permit.

Types of projects where datasheets are appropriate:

  • Central Air Conditioners (site plan needed if installing a condenser);
  • Electrical Outlets, Switches or Fixtures
  • Furnaces
  • Water Heater or Softeners
