Metro Driver - Ricky

"To Whom it May Concern,

I am emailing to share my gratitude for encountering one of your drivers on Friday 14th July at approximately 6pm. My wife (40 weeks pregnant) and 2 1/2 year old son went for a walk around the capitol and had planned on finding the local metro bus for a quick ride. My son has always wanted to ride the city bus, gets excited whenever he sees one and we thought that evening would be an opportune time to take him aboard.

We got on the bus and shared with Ricky this was our son's first time riding the city bus. Ricky was super welcoming and thoughtful. He welcomed our family on the bus with a big smile, taught my son (and us) how to use the bus (paying the fare, getting a ticket etc.) and was engaged throughout. We only rode the bus for about 10 minutes before walking to collect our car, but when getting off of the bus Ricky lowered the platform, gave my son a high 5 and wished us well.

I hope this message makes its way to Ricky and his supervisor. He's a class act! Thank you!"
