Payments
Q. What if I don't pay the forfeiture by the due date?
A. Depending on the charge(s), the court could issue a warrant for your arrest, suspend your driver's License for 1 year, commence a collection action and/or intercept your tax refund.
Q. What are my payment options?
A. The following payment options are for payments due to the Madison Municipal Court ONLY. You can make payment via mail, online at Madisonpay.com, or use the dropbox currently located by the City-Country entrance doors at 210 MLK Jr. Blvd. Envelopes must be clearly marked with you name, your address, date of birth, citation number and court date.
Q. What if I need a payment plan?
A. You can request a payment plan in writing prior to your due date. You must tell the judge how much you can pay each month and when you will be able to begin making payments. The payment will be due on the same date of each month until paid in full. The judge will review your request and you will be notified if it is approved. If it is not approved, the judge will determine what the payments will be.
