Westmorland Park in District 11 comes alive on Friday July 3, transforming into one of Madison's largest neighborhood gatherings with live music, local food vendors, and an incredible drone light show celebrating 250 years of independence.

The District 11 Book Club, a free and informal group hosted by Alder Bill Tishler, will meet on Wednesday, June 24 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Sequoya Library. Book discussion on "Strong Towns: A Bottom Up Revolution to Rebuild American Prosperity" 

The Capitol City Band's 58th season begins June 18 at the Rennebohm Park Shelter. Free concert starts at 7:00pm. The City of Madison administrative offices are closed for the Juneteenth holiday, on Friday, June 19.
