Guidance for covering polling places

  • Please check in with the Chief Inspector once you arrive at a polling place. There is no need to contact the Clerk's Office in advance.
  • Please be respectful of voter privacy and the lawful right to a secret ballot. Filming and photography is not permitted in the room where voting takes place. 
  • If you'd like to interview a voter, please wait until after they have voted.
