Ballot Drop-Off Sites

The Clerk's Office must receive your absentee ballot in time to deliver it to your polling place on Election Day.  If returning your ballot through the mail, we recommend you mail it back to our office by Monday, October 31.  If you prefer to return your absentee ballot in person, you may do so at the following locations during the timeframes indicated:

City Clerk's Office (before October 25)
210 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd
Weekdays, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
 
Any in-person absentee voting site (October 25 - November 6) 
Deliver to Clerk's Office personnel on site during absentee voting hours.
Your own polling place on Election Day
Tuesday, November 8, 7:00 am - 8:00 pm

Under the Voting Rights Act, voters needing assistance with the mailing or delivery of their absentee ballot due to a disability are permitted to receive assistance from a person of their choice, as long as the person providing assistance is not the voter's employer, agent of the voter's employer, or officer or agent of the voter's union.  Otherwise, voters are required to mail or deliver their own absentee ballot.
