Throughout the summer of 2016, Parks staff attended neighborhood-related events and hosted listening sessions with the youth and community at large to gain input on the new park's design.
This approximately one-acre park features a full-sized basketball court, an open-sided reservable picnic shelter, playground, drinking fountain, youth hoops and four-square courts.
The Allied Park Master Plan was approved in October 2016.
