    Return of wintry weather has ended the make-up attempt for residents that had a November 30, 2025 set out date.

    No curbside collections on 1/19/26. Drop-off sites & offices also closed.

    Use your collection schedule to learn when to set out carts due to the holiday.

    Drop-off sites & offices reopen 1/20/26 on posted hours.

Trash

Put your trash in the tan cart. We collect trash every week. See the trash guidelines for more details.

Recycling

Put your recycling in the green cart. We collect recycling every other week.

Recycling is required in Madison. Do not put recyclable items in the trash.  See the recycling guidelines for more details.

Holidays

We do not perform collections on City holidays. Our drop-off sites and offices are also closed.
