School Street Pilot Project has Started!
Marquette Elementary is the site of Madison's School Street Pilot Project. From Monday, May 18th and continuing every school day through Wednesday, June 10th, Jenifer Street, between Thornton Avenue and Rogers Street, will close to vehicle traffic.

The Draft Safe Routes to School Strategic Plan is Ready to Review!
The Draft Safe Routes to School Strategic Plan presents a vision for increasing walking, biking, and taking the bus to school and provides program and policy recommendations to provide safe streets, safe campuses, safe behaviors. Comments will be accepted until 5:00pm on Friday, May 29
Temporary Closure of Pedestrian Access
Starting Tuesday, May 12, work will begin on the Broom Street railroad crossing as part of the John Nolen Drive reconstruction project. This work will require a full closure of pedestrian access along Broom Street at the John Nolen Drive intersection. The work and closure are expected to last approximately 10 days.
