Meet Neighborhood Resource Officer Amelia Levett

Officer Amelia Levett has been a member of the Madison Police Department since 2012. She has worked patrol-night and afternoon shifts. Currently, Officer Levett is the neighborhood resource officer for the South District. Officer Levett is a member of the special events team and the hiring resource group. Officer Levett is also member of the Domestic Violence Community Coordinated Response group and is currently working on a domestic violence follow up program for the department.

Prior to joining the police department, Officer Levett earned her Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University (MSU) in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Officer Levett also earned her Master's degree from MSU in Criminal Justice. Officer Levett loves animals and has now saved two baby rabbits while on duty!
