I will also have an in-person office hour time block next Friday at Northstreet, Eken Park from 10am - 12pm.

Updates and Notices

Makeup Leaf Collection Starting Monday 2/16/2025: Crews will be making another attempt to make up for the leaves we could not collect following the November 29, 2025 snowstorm. Thanks to the warm weather, we will be making another attempt at leaf collection for residents that had a November 30, 2025 set out date.

  • Collection will continue through next week as weather allows
  • The same personnel that collects the leaves drives the snowplows, so if snow comes back, we will need to shift operations in response

Spring Primary Election is Tuesday February 17th:

  • Remember to vote! All District 12 ballots will have a primary for the Dane County Circuit Court Branch 1 Judge race.
  • Polls are open from 7am - 8pm
  • Find your polling place and more information on your ballot at My Vote WI.

Seed Grants – Due February 20The Mayor's Office is now accepting applications for SEED grants. Any proposal that improves the local food system and makes food more accessible for City of Madison residents will be considered. Submit your application to the Madison Food Policy Council via email ( mfpc@cityofmadison.com).

Adult School Crossing Guard Recognition Week February 16th - 20th: Recognition Week comes during the height of Wisconsin winter, a time that highlights the dedication of crossing guards who regularly work in snow, freezing rain, wind, and extreme cold. Regardless of weather conditions, these public safety professionals remain a dependable presence in school neighborhoods and play a vital role in protecting pedestrians.

Know Your Rights: New webpage through the Mayor's office to share updates and resources for policies, organizational and volunteer information regarding response to ICE enforcement.
