  • Common Council Approves Southwest, Southeast Area Plans: The City of Madison Common Council voted to adopt the Southwest and Southeast Area Plans during its meeting on Tuesday, June 23. The District 19 neighborhood between the Beltline and Schroeder Rd and between Gammon Rd and Whitney Way is covered by the Southwest Area Plan. [posted June 24, 2026]
  • Water Main Flushing: The Madison Water Utility will be flushing various mains next week including those along Segoe Rd and Arbor Vitae Pl in Crestwood.
  • District 19 Items at June 29 Finance Committee
    • Item 9 (Legistar 93420) is for creating Tax Incremental Finance District 56 and the boundaries therefore in the area of Grand Teton Pl to support infrastructure and affordable housing in this redeveloping area.
    • Item 10 (Legistar 93428) is for creating Tax Incremental Finance District 57 and the boundaries therefore in the area of Medical Circle to support infrastructure and affordable housing in this redeveloping area.
  • Help Bring More Life to Madison's Parks: Madison Parks is looking for creative partners to activate and enhance our park system through recreational, educational and placemaking activities. To do this, Parks released the Recreational Services and Placemaking Request for Proposals on VendorNet(external) and on DemandStar(external). The deadline to submit proposals is September 1, 2026. Updates and Notices

  • Payment Systems Scheduled MaintenanceMunicipal Services Bill, Property Taxes, and General Billing Invoice payments will be down for maintenance beginning 9pm on Wednesday, July 8 through 8am on Monday, July 13.

Public Information Meetings (PIMs)

  • Parman Terrace, Tuesday, June 30: A public information meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m., June 30, 2026, via Zoom. Registration is required. 
  • Public Input Meeting - Odana Hills Golf Course and Park, Tuesday, June 30: The Parks Division is continuing to refine the Master Plan conceptual Clubhouse and Odana Hills East Park Master Plan.  Since the April 30 Public Information Meeting and June 2 site tours, staff have further investigated implications of utility easements within the park and have determined that adjustments are necessary from the preferred conceptual design.
