Public Meeting 06/29 at 5pm

Please join me on Monday, June 29 at 5pm at Common Wealth Gallery, 100 S. Baldwin St., for a neighborhood meeting for the presentation and discussion of a development proposal. There will be signage to the meeting room and there is elevator / accessible access.

Common Wealth Development, Inc. proposes to redevelop the properties located at 215 S. Baldwin St., 221 S. Baldwin St. and 1312 E. Wilson St.

The existing buildings, driveways and accessory structures would be demolished, the three parcels would be combined into a single site where a new 14-unit three-story mixed-use building would be constructed. The new building would be comprised of commercial space on the ground floor and six studio and eight one-bedroom residential units on the second and third floors. Parking plans include five surface parking stalls for cars and a dedicated area for bike storage.

City of Madison Principal Planner Kevin Firchow will also be present to explain city process and answer questions.

There will be a time to ask questions and provide feedback.

This will be a hybrid meeting. If you are unable to attend in person, you can join by Zoom.
