Laundromats & Car Washes

Timing devices at laundromats and car washes are inspected every year. Inspectors verify device timing and make sure all in-service indicators work. We also check for required signage on the device or at the business. Self-service facilities must have the following items at the site:

• Sign with name, address, and phone number of the responsible party
• Instructions on how to get a refund
• Statement of rates on each device, including the price and the number of coins accepted at one time
