Repairing Recent Hail and Storm Damage

The City has received reports of potential scammers. Some companies are trying to take advantage of recent storm damage. It's important to make sure repairs are done quickly and by reputable companies.

Vehicle Tank Meters

Meters mounted on vehicle tanks used for the measurement and delivery of petroleum products that deliver within the City of Madison 1 or more times per year are required to be licensed with the City and will be inspected annually.  These inspections will be scheduled at a time and place determined by the inspector.  An operator will be required to assist the inspector during the inspection.

Meters can be calibrated by a service company licensed by the State of Wisconsin. Reinspection by the City of Madison is required.
