Repairing Recent Hail and Storm Damage

The City has received reports of potential scammers. Some companies are trying to take advantage of recent storm damage. It's important to make sure repairs are done quickly and by reputable companies.

Licensing

Licenses and inspections support businesses and the public. Accurate prices and discounts increase consumer trust. In the City you need a license for all sales devices.

Please see the application for the fee schedule of different device types. We mail license renewals in November. Payment is due by December 31st.  The annual license is valid from January 1 – December 31.

Your business must have a license. If you do not have a license, you must contact us for licensing at 608-246-4515 or weightsandmeasures@cityofmadison.com.
