Park Highlights

Jenni and Kyle Foundation Accessible Playground

This playground was made possible through a generous donation from the Jenni and Kyle Foundation to the Madison Parks Foundation, supporting efforts to create more accessible and inclusive parks and playgrounds throughout Madison.

The playground is named in loving memory of Jenni and Kyle Geurkink, siblings who both passed away in the 1980s from a degenerative neurological disorder before reaching their fourth birthdays. Their legacy lives on through this welcoming space where children of all abilities can play together.

In 2017, Madison's first accessible playground  - the Jenni and Kyle Foundation Accessible Playground - opened in Brittingham Park.
