Cyclocross
Cyclocross is a form of bicycle racing similar to cross country running but on a bicycle. Courses feature wooded trails, grass, pavement, steep hills, and obstacles. Practice trails are offered periodically at select locations throughout the year.
Capital Off Road Pathfinders (CORP) maintains a year-round cyclocross practice course at Northeast Park. Suitable for beginners, the course is free to use and open to the public. A course map, trail description, and trail conditions is maintained on the CORP website.
Location: Northeast Park, 5501 Tancho Dr.

Rider Tips and Rules
- Off-road bicycles only.
- No motorized vehicles.
- Helmet required.
- Stay on mowed trails only.
- Ride within your abilities.
2022 Temporary Practice Course Evenings
Each practice course is open 5-7pm on the night indicated below. You'll need a bike with knobby tires, such as a mountain style and a good fitting helmet. Some parks do not have water or restrooms, please plan accordingly.
