The largest community park in Madison Parks, Elver Park spans an impressive 250 acres in the southwest corner of the city. Elver features two reservable shelters, a splash park, athletic fields, a disc golf course and more. See At This Park for a complete list.
Alcohol is prohibited in this park on July 4. For more information, see the Madison General Ordinance 8.24. If you wish to have alcohol in this park on July 4, you must have an alcohol permit, which may be obtained through the Parks Administrative Office.
During elections, this site is a City of Madison polling location and is closed to all other activities.

Splash Park
Cool off during the summer with a visit to the Elver splash park! Madison Parks offers three splash parks that are always free to use and open daily, typically Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend: 10:00am to 8:00pm.

Most athletic fields and courts are available first-come, first-served. You must reserve fields and courts online for leagues, lessons, or tournaments.

Multipurpose Field
4 fields
Multipurpose Fields are reservable athletic fields with no game-specific design or limitations. Often used for soccer, ultimate, lacrosse or football, yet open to your imagination. They may be used on a first-come, first-served basis if not already reserved.

A daily or annual disc golf permit is required for anyone 16 years or older. You can buy a disc golf permit online.

Sledding
With good snow cover, Elver Park sledding hill is lit for evening fun! Warming house and concessions.
Sledding hills are suggested with good snow cover. Open and closed statuses are not monitored.
Snowshoeing
In general parks, snowshoeing is allowed anywhere with good snow cover; typically, this means at least 6" or more. Snowshoeing is not allowed off-trail in a conservation park or on a designated cross-country ski trail.
Splash Park
To turn on water features, push button on the silver pole with a blue foot.
Restrooms are available nearby at either shelter.
Open daily, 10:00am to 8:00pm Memorial weekend through Labor Day.
