Park Details

This nearly 6-acre park, formerly known at Central Park, was officially renamed in April 2018 at a dedication ceremony honoring longtime East High School principal, Milton McPike.

The park features a restroom building (open seasonally) and Madison's first skatepark, which opened in September 2015. The park is host to numerous festivals and events including a weekly farmers' market April through October. For more information on reserving this park, visit Special Events.

The Central Park Master Plan was completed and approved in 2011.
