Ruben Gonzalez

Ruben Gonzalez

Hello, my name is Officer Ruben Gonzalez and I am the Bram's Addition Neighborhood Officer in the south side of Madison. I have been a police officer for the City of Madison since 2016 and have a Master's degree in Social Work. I have really enjoyed meeting many residents in the Bram's Addition and am proud to serve the residents of the south side of Madison. Some of my favorite activities to do while at work are to walk around Penn Park, watch the South Side Raiders, and catch up with my dear friends Miss Nona and the rest of the Fisher Taft residence over coffee and a kringle from Lane's Bakery.

On my off time, I like to watch sports my favorite being Baseball and Football. I also enjoy playing in a Men's baseball league in the area. I play catcher and I am definitely a wall behind the plate, nothing gets passed me. Here is a picture of my catchers gear moments before I went out onto the field.
