Snow Emergency announcements are given to the media, so you can also monitor Madison radio and television stations for information on Snow Emergencies. Check the City of Madison web site to see if there is a Declared Snow Emergency. If you have to park on the street, find out where you need to park by doing one of the following:

I Got Towed

The City of Madison could tow your car if you fail to follow the winter parking rules. You could be towed if streets become impassable for emergency vehicles, busses, or other vehicles. Fines for towing during a Snow Emergency are $60 for the Alternate Side Parking violation plus a $65 towing fee.
