Due to an expected event, service around the Capitol Square might be significantly disrupted on Friday, January 30 starting at approximately 9:00 a.m.
Metro supervisors will be in the area and start putting buses on detour as crowds warrant.
Routes A, B & F:
BRT stations and local bus stops around the Square and State St. will be closed. Buses will detour via the outer loop and on Gorham/Bassett, W. Washington. Passengers can board at temporary stops on Doty and E. Dayton streets. See map below for complete boarding options.
Route R:
Stops around the Square or on State St. will not be served. Buses will detour via the outer loop, Gorham/Bassett, and W. Washington Ave. Temporary stops will be available on Doty and E. Dayton St. See map below for complete boarding options.
This detour may change during the course of the event at the direction of the Madison Police Department.
