Mobile App Instructions

The Metro Transit Fast Fares App can be found in your mobile app store.

Open the app, click Sign Up in the top right corner, and follow the steps to create your account. A valid email address is required.

Do you already have a Fast Fare Card? You can register one or more cards to your new or existing account.

In the Metro Transit Fast Fares app, select Tap and Ride, and choose Mobile App as your ride type. Skip the next screen to Add Funds by selecting “I’ll Add Funds Later" at the bottom.

Continuing in the app, tap the “Create My Mobile Barcode” button, give it a name, and finish by selecting the “Create My Barcode” button.

Select the amount you wish to add using a credit or debit card. You can also use cash at any sales outlet or ticket vending machine at BRT stations.

Before you get on the bus, open the Metro Transit Fast Fares App and log in. Make sure the QR code is showing on your screen. BRT stations will alert you when your bus is approaching the platform.

Hold your phone so the screen faces the middle of the fare reader. Keep it about four fingers away and ensure the QR code is in the center. Scan your phone each time you board the bus.
