Due to an expected event, service around the Capitol Square might be significantly disrupted on Friday, January 30 starting at approximately 9:00 a.m.
Metro supervisors will be in the area and start putting buses on detour as crowds warrant.
Bus stops around the Square will be closed. Buses will detour via the outer loop and temporary stops will be available on Doty and E. Dayton St. Passengers can also use stops on W. Washington Ave. near Fairchild. See map below.
This detour may change during the course of the event at the direction of the Madison Police Department.
