 Closed

Update May 1, 2026: Due to the expected bike path closure and detour for the John Nolen Drive reconstruction project, the fishing pier near the North Shore Drive intersection will not be installed for the 2026 season. The pier is scheduled to be installed at a new, more accessible location further north along the Law Park shoreline for the 2027 season.

See Fishing for additional locations.

People 16 years and older need a fishing license from the Wisconsin DNR.

Eating fish can be a delicious, low-cost, and nutritious meal. However, eating certain fish can also be harmful because they may contain mercury, PCBs, or PFAS. See Eating Your Catch (from the WI DNR) for more information.
