Due to construction, Route 65 will detour off Research Park beginning Monday, June 1, from the start of service through early July.
Following the completion of the Lacy Rd. construction the the project will then shift and closed Research Park. Estimated to start on Monday, June 1 through July 1, 2026 (pending Lacy Rd. construction).

From Wood Hollow in Fitchburg, WI, Route 65 travels southbound on Cheryl, serving stops 04194, 4245, and 4764, along with a temporary stop. The route will bypass Research Park, with stops 4887 and 4801 closed.It then turns left onto Fish Hatchery Road, serving stop 4930, followed by a left turn onto Lacy Road, serving stop 4767. The route continues with a right turn onto Research Park Drive, serving a temporary stop (trip start/end). It then travels northbound, turning right onto Sparkle Stone Drive, and right again onto Fish Hatchery Road, where it resumes the regular route.
