Trash & Recycling Guidelines

Please follow these rules so we can collect your trash and recycling.

  • Cart Placement

    • Put carts out by 6:30am on your collection day.
    • Put carts at the end of your driveway or on the terrace, or edge of the road on top of the curb.
    • If your collection is in an alley, put carts at the alley edge.

  • Trash

    • Do not put any banned items in the trash cart.
    • Do not put small items or trash bags outside your cart.
    • Schedule collection for any large items or appliances.

  • Recycling

    • Only put the correct paper, plastic, metal, and glass in the recycling cart.
    • Do not put any banned items in the recycling cart.
    • Do not bag your recyclable items. Put items loose in the recycling cart.

  • Big Cleanout

    Guidelines for what to do if you're cleaning out a home and you have more than what you can fit into the carts. 

    Remember - you should always donate what is usable before you throw it out.
