Saturday marks the second year of a downtown fireworks event. This year, Festival Foods - Shake the Lake will take place on Saturday June 27th. The Festival begins at 5pm with a variety of food, events and entertainment taking place, leading up to the 2015 fireworks at 10:00pm.
John Nolen Drive will be closed on Saturday beginning early in the morning. The closure will be from Broom Street to Williamson/Wilson Streets. The causeway will be open all day this year, so there should be few issues on people getting to the downtown area for this or the many other events taking place.
