I was hired in 2008 and I work patrol in the East district on the night shift. I grew up on the East side of Madison. I graduated from UW Parkside with a degree in criminal justice. I wanted to become a police officer because I wanted a job that was unpredictable, exciting and that gave me the opportunity to interact with all types of people. I enjoy the variety of work in patrol. In addition to patrol, I have assisted the department with the transition and training of our squad desktop software and I helped with the improvement of our traffic software.
When not at work I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy boating, home remodeling and traveling to Northern Wisconsin in the summers.
