MSCR Meadowood Neighborhood Center Teams with Madison Police for Paper Drive

Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) and the Madison Police Department are holding a paper drive for families who use the Meadowood Neighborhood Center Food Pantry.  The pantry serves about 75 families in the Meadowood Neighborhood that struggle to make ends meet.

The team is asking for donations of paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, laundry detergent, dish soap, diapers and baby wipes through Saturday, March 30.

Donations may be dropped off at the MeadowoodNeighborhood Center, 5734 Raymond Rd, on Monday, 9am-6pm, Tuesday through Friday, 9am-8pm, and Saturday, 12 pm-4pm. Donations may also be dropped off at the West District Madison Police Department, 1710 McKenna Blvd, on Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm.

MSCR operates Meadowood Neighborhood Center in collaboration with the City of Madison on Madison's southwest side, in the Meadowood Shopping Center. The purpose of the Meadowood Neighborhood Center is to provide a safe, supervised place for youth during afterschool and evening hours, for neighbors to socialize and space for MSCR programs such as arts, fitness and much more.

MSCR is also looking for Food Pantry Volunteers.  Please go to mscr.org for more information.

MSCR is the public recreation department and offers a wide range of programs for all ages including afterschool, arts, enrichment, fitness, sports, swimming and more.  Please go to mscr.org or call 608-204-3000 for more information.
