The East District was alerted to a Craigslist scam recently involving a local apartment complex The apartments are advertised as being available for rent, some awesome photos are posted and then the person wants a deposit. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is. Do your own research, contact the complex directly to confim and NEVER give/send/deposit money to someone you don't know without confirming the details.
