On April 28th the Madison PD conducted traffic enforcement in the 500 block of Hwy 51.Over the course of a 4 hour enhanced traffic enforcement operation yesterday, Officers conducted 23 stops for individuals that were speeding.
The speeds of the vehicles that were stopped ranged from 70 mph to 80 mph. The section of roadway where the enforcement occurred had a posted speed limit of 55 mph. One driver was not wearing a seat belt.
Please buckle up and adhere to the posted speed limit.
