Hello, my name is Officer Heather Dzick and I have been a police officer with the City of Madison for eight years. I grew up in southern Wisconsin and spent a lot of time in Madison, as I have close relatives in the area. I am a huge Badger and Packer fan!In my off time, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors, hiking or cycling. I enjoy watching and playing all types of sports. I have a young son and adventurous partner who are flexible enough to follow along in our many adventures.
This year, I became the new East Police District neighborhood resource officer. I am excited about this new position and look forward to working with the citizens and the stakeholders who make this district and this city great.
I am starting out working on a project in the Owl Creek Neighborhood, as they are adding a new park to this area this year. Also, the Madison Fire Department is adding Station 14 off of Femrite Drive in the near future.
Along with working on these projects, my focus is to ensure citizens are able to safely enjoy the recreational areas in our city and help increase safety in our homes.
