Child and Youth Funding

The School-Age Child and Youth funding process in 2019 for 2020 is open to organizations who wish to apply for City funding for Elementary, Middle, and/or High School-Age child and youth programming.

This application process is intended for agencies who are not currently City funded neighborhood centers. If you are a City funded neighborhood center applying for Elementary, Middle, or High School Age programming there is a separate application process for your center to apply for programming, click here for the application page.

Applicants must attend one School-Age Child and Youth Funding Process Workshop on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, July 9th from 5:00-7:00pm at the Water Utility Building, 119 E. Olin Ave.

  • Thursday, July 11th from 9:00-11:00am at the Villager Mall, 2300 S. Park St.

Register for a workshop here: https://www.cityofmadison.com/isevents/admin/event_maint.cfm?eid=2152&msgid=2

If applicants are unable to attend a workshop they must schedule a conversation with City Staff on their proposal prior to 4:00 pm on July 26, 2019 to be eligible to apply. Applications will not be accepted from entities that have not attended a workshop or consulted with staff on their proposals.
