Community Building and Engagement: Community Building Activities and Leadership Development

 

The City of Madison is seeking proposals from qualified applicants to do one or more of the following:

  1. Undertake or promote focused, community building activities that will have a positive effect on Madison neighborhoods, by strengthing community relationships, and facilitating connections with a collective effort that support and engage residents through activities or events.

  2. Provide opportunities for leadership development and skill building for residents wishing to do work in their neighborhoods that will increase community cohesion and/or address needs or issues in their neighborhoods

Mandatory Workshop

All applicants must attend the mandatory workshop on either

  • Tuesday, February 25 from 9-11am at Goodman Maintenance Facility at 1402 Wingra Creek Pkwy or
  • Thursday, February 27 from 3-5 pm at Goodman Maintenance Facility at 1402 Wingra Creek Pkwy.

If applicants cannot make one of the workshops, they must schedule a consult with staff in lieu of the workshop by 4:00 pm on March 13, 2020.

 

Applications MUST be received on our office by 12:00 pm CST (noon) on March 20, 2020. Applications time stamped received after 12:00 pm will not be accepted, NO EXCEPTIONS!
