The City of Madison is seeking proposals from qualified entities to provide the following programs to children and youth living on Madison’s westside with a focus on potential participants living in the Tree Lane apartments:
- Affordable, stable, quality neighborhood-based elementary school-age care for low-income children, children of color, and homeless children
- Out-of-school time activities that complement in-school learning and development for middle school-age low-income youth, with a particular focus on youth of color.
Applicants must attend the School-Age Child and Youth Program-West Madison Supplemental Funding Process Workshop:
Friday, October 11 at 1:30 pm in Room 302 of the Madison Municipal Building, 215 MLK Jr. Blvd.
If applicants are unable to attend the workshop they must schedule a conversation with City Staff on their proposal prior to 4:00 pm on October 23, 2019 to be eligible to apply. Applications will not be accepted from entities that have not attended a workshop or consulted with staff on their proposals.
